Moxie was napping this afternoon following our rainy day trip to the Smithsonian. We took the chance to take a few sweet pictures of our little Keen. She's all about sitting straight up these days. She sticks her tongue out a lot--feeling the two little teeth that have sprung up in the last two weeks.
The blog that answered a thousand aunts:
A usually updated account of the new life of Moxie in hopes of answering familial inquiries.

17 Months Recap
Well, Moxie is 17 months old and more of a person every day. She likes to dance, sing, read books, and play with her monkey. She has more signs and words--mostly related to animals. Moxie's first chore is feeding the dogs. She is very careful to put scoopfuls of food in each of their bowls. She is teething--we think molars. Dad did her hair :)

Twin Sleepers
(found this at the bottom of my posts--talk about a blast from the past)
On Sunday morning Strider let me have a couple hours of extra sleep. He and Moxie hung out for a while (she was super fussy--we think teething related) and they spent time in the living room. Well, Moxie calmed down and the two of them fell asleep. Turns out they are synchronized sleepers. I walked out to the living room and what did I find? These two twin sleepers all covered up and stretched out with matching bed head too. Moxie was asleep until I turned on the camera. The only way you can tell them apart is the pacifier.
